2000 Blankets Donated

Carol’s Army is a non-profit, family-based foundation created to honor the life and legacy of Carol Brand, who bravely battled leukemia for several years. Our mission is to bring comfort, hope, and support to individuals affected by leukemia, while contributing to the greater fight for a cure.

Our primary purpose is to deliver “Comfort Blankets” to leukemia patients undergoing chemotherapy, offering warmth—both physical and emotional—during one of life’s most difficult journeys. These special chemo blankets, reflecting are designed to help ease the intense chills and discomfort that often accompany treatment.

We are committed to identifying and supporting local leukemia patients in need, and to funding ongoing leukemia research. While the bulk of our resources go directly toward providing comfort and care, any remaining funds are donated to accredited research institutions dedicated to finding a cure.

Carol’s Army is fueled by the generosity of individuals and communities through quarterly pledge drives, as well as events like golf outings and bowling tournaments. Our hope is that others will “enlist” in Carol’s Army and stand with us in this meaningful cause—offering compassion, strength, and solidarity to our brothers and sisters in need.
